The newly renovated in 2006, 200 room Ocean Plaza Beach Resort is located ocean front on Tybee Island, GA. Just 20 minutes from historic downton Savannah. The spacious guestrooms have a king size or 2 queen size beds, private balconies, hairdryer and coffeemakers. There are swimming pools and pool bar. The Dophin Reef Restaurant and Lounge has a spectacular view of the ocean of the ocean from 2 dining levels - serves breakfast lunch, dinner and late night 7 days a week. Entertainment is featured on the weekends. There is space for meetings up to 200 people. The Island also offers a wide array of recreational activities. Effective March 17th, 2008, Ocean Plaza Beach Resort on Tybee Island, Georgia will be nonsmoking in all rooms and in the Dolphin Reef Restaurant and Lounge.
