The Edgewater has welcomed numerous celebrities throughout the years, perhaps the most famous of whom were The Beatles. Staying at the hotel during their first world tour in 1964 they were rushed back to the hotel after the show in an ambulance, while taxi cabs and stand-ins were used as decoys. FROM I 5: Take Mercer St./Fairview exit. Turn right onto Fairview and follow road, take left at Daniel's Broiler. Go straight through the next light and continue past Space Needle on Broad St., which leads to the waterfront. Cross the railroad tracks and bear left onto Alaskan Way. Hotel on the right. Pier 67 FROM HIGHWAY 99 SOUTHBOUND: Take exit at end of Battery Street Tunnel. Turn right onto Western Avenue and proceed to the left lane.
