I-78 West (toward Clinton, NJ) into PA, go past Allentown exits to exit 14 for Route 100 South, follow Route 100 South for about 1 mile to the traffice light at Schantz Road, bear rightonto Schantz Road, just before going through the light, follow Schantz road for apporx. 4 miles to stop sign at the intersection of with Route 222 South, bear right onto 222 South, continuing to the exit for Route 222 Sotuh (Bypass) toward Lancaster, continue on 222 South to the 2nd exit after passing the exit for N.Wyomissing Blbd, this is the exit for Reading - Penn Street, follow Penn Street across the brigde into downtown Reading, go the traffic elight at 5th Street and turn left onto 5th, go to the 2nd traffic light at Washington hotel is on the left.
